Ok I know..Aly and myself spend all our time eating BUT when something worth trying is recommended you just have to give it a go.
We went at lunch time today even if you just go for a coffee or a glass of wine its well worth the visit AND you are not charged a daft entrance fee ( please note LargOmar) The interior design is perfect and you are encouraged to visit the art exhibition in the lower gallery.
The menu is more geared to the meat eaters as in the evening the Bar BQ is the heat source and the recommendation is the slow roast chicken in beer which is slowly cooked all day. We just had a light lunch and enjoyed it; pricey but well worth the visit..we will return.
The Alijbe is located near to the Manrique roundabout take the 3rd exit to Costa Teguise ( driving from Nazaret) its about quarter of a mile on the right hand side. Its clearly signed. Open every day from 1pm until late
