As promised here is an update on work being done to the Arrieta pier…The crane is still there and it looks like a building site but it’s coming along!
We noted with horror the continued blocking of parking for the beach and someone’s bright idea to paint a basket ball pitch on the car park near to the beach bar. This means anyone with a disability will not have beach access. So many visitors had the beach bar as a ‘must visit’ on their holiday agenda. Who comes up with these crazy plans? Without the parking Arrieta is jammed with cars which means residents wont be happy.
On the bright side the beach looked stunning and the young surfers were having fun 🏄♀️🏄♂️
We have started the “new normal” and the first Ryanair flight from the UK arrived this week, so we are looking forward to welcoming guests back to beautiful Lanzarote.
