Yet again I have had a client let down and their holiday nearly spoiled because of it. PLEASE take my advice do not go for the cheapest option you can find if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is not! HERTZ I thought would know better but no; they not only asked for an added premium for personal liability but proceeded to charge over 900 Euros for doing so. The promise that this would be returned to the card when the car is returned with a full tank of petrol just is not good enough. Our visitors arrive tired and confused and are pushed into doing things they would not normally accept. How many people have that sort of money on their credit card? This could be holiday spending money? I was angry and annoyed that visitors to our island can be treated like this. I always recommend Martina’s Autos as they are a family run business who always take great care of our visitors. They may be a little more expensive but peace of mind is surely worth a few euros extra?
