Well its still the same fantastic ‘Rock’ 
but over the last few years we have noticed that our visitors are at last appreciating that there is so much more here than just sand sea and sun. At last the powers that be are accepting that perhaps our visitors want more than all inclusive and they need to go more ‘upmarket’
We have noticed so many more adventure holidays being advertised and many of our own clients are really enjoying the ‘Walk Lanzarote’ book and map we provide in our villas and one even discovered his own special walk from Tabayesco the ‘Tabayesco Circular’ which was published in the latest book.
Look up Adventure holidays Lanzarote, David Penny offers fantastic adventure days on the island which I fully recommend.
There are also bird watching excursions, cycling tours, yoga breaks, walking trips through the the National Park and so much more. Hopefully the hotel owners power over the island, (which at the moment is holding up the progress of issuing licencing for private villas) will soon be resolved and the progress being made to upmarket the island will forge ahead.
Over the last twenty years I have seen changes and this rethink is overdue and can do nothing but good.
