Now don’t laugh but Aly and myself this lunch time tried a lovely Chinese in Costa Teguise. I really don’t like the grab what you can for 4.99€ but Aly said it was good I value her judgement so off we went.
27 degrees and sunny in an open topped car ( just had to get that bit in!) we whizzed down in style. THE GOLDEN CITY the only Chinese restaurant that opens at lunch time and first service is at 1pm; truly it was brilliant not greasy and cold but pipping hot and great flavours. There was everything eat as much as you like and the drink prices are very fair. Aly says the evening service starts at 6 pm and its better to get there when the fresh food is put out. Its situated immediately opposite the Costa Teguise Playa. Well worth a visit.
We then popped down to the beach front and had a really lovely cup of coffee in the new ice cream parlour next door to the Crazy Loop boutique ..if you haven’t been here DO go its ladies fashion and I guarantee you will fing something you like at not daft prices. I also like the fact you don’t get hassled you can try on anything help is there if you need it but no pressure. Aly found a lovely top and out another friend Lynne a full length dress.
There are lovely clients staying in Casa Luca this week who have come over to investigate the possibility of up market cycling holidays in Lanzarote and were hoping to find villas suitable for families. They are delighted with the suitability of Nazaret and feel the location is ideal. They were also blown away by the beauty of the island and its wondeful landscape they, like so many of us, were distressed by the Lanzagrotty image and are determined to do their best to dispel it with clients friends and family.
The weather this week has been stunning; so good I went out with my camera. The natural colours were stunning and this week we have had the spring tides, the crashing waves in Punta Mujeres were awesome. I am surprised some bright spark has not come up with the idea of photography holidays over here….now thats a thought.
