We are so lucky in Lanzarote having so many fabulous restaurants to choose from but I have to confess to having one very special favourite. Debbie and Darren have been on the island almost as long as us and we always have a great night out and fantastic food when we visit them
Unfortunately Tabayesco is quite a trail ( yes I know island mentality!) but its always worth it. Our villas in Nazaret are so lucky having Barstro on their doorstep but for that special treat I always recommend La Cabana in Macher, if you don’t fancy driving ( 15 minutes) a taxi is the answer.
There are not many covers so I always recommend booking you wont be disappointed. Every dish is prepared freshly in front of you and there is always something new and innovative on the menu; his recent trip to the far east gave him LOTS of new ideas…FAB!
Darren is more than happy to tell you how he prepares his dishes and Debbie is a fantastic hostess; she is in charge of ‘puddings’ unbeatable! REAL bread and butter, sticky toffee, chocolate volcano, just to mention a few favourites. Her wine tips are great too!
Often clients ask me for a recommendation for a treat or special occasion truly you cant beat La Cabana.
There are cards in all our villas but look them up on Google or Trip Advisor I promise you a night to remember.
I cant believe that one of you out there is not desperate to take up my offer of break in Casa Luca free now until the 18th September! One or two other slots in 2014 mail me for details.
