When you first arrive on the island you have favourite restaurants that you regularly frequent and then forget. Las Maretas is one such eatery. I returned today after 3 years and realised what an idiot I am not to visit more regularly. I understand many of their customers salivate on the plane coming over and always book in with Domingo and Queta for their first night.
Today I had prawns in garlic and Maretas special salad. Its silver service inside but I preferred to sit outside, no problem.
If you go in the evening you can have a long wait to be served but lunch time is brilliant it opens at 1pm, no need to book. To say that the cost is reasonable is an understatement, fantastic food ant crazy prices and the wine is silly money.

Parking is really easy and it’s all on the flat with wheel chair access. I have added photos to guide you in as I know some of our clients have got lost, walk through the arch past the coffee shop right again it’s the last restaurant on the right tucked into a corner
If you wish to book for an evening meal, fabulous if you have a group and are not in a hurry 928 590 078. There are English menus.
Really this is a little gem and highly recommended.
