A very interesting headline in the Mail today concerning people who have booked holidays through the site and then finding they have no accommodation on arrival as the website has been hacked. I just cannot imagine how the said families managed and also the concern of the villa owner who through no fault of his own is thrown into this horrid situation. I hope this situation never arises through LVD but I always encourage clients to phone me if they have any concerns whatsoever and I am always happy to accept payment on arrival as long as a small deposit has been made as a gesture of goodwill and intent. Please if you do book a holiday do insure your contact is genuine and that everything safe before making any cash deposits into bank accounts.
