As far as markets go Teguise really isn’t too bad. If you love markets you will love Teguise. On Sunday this sleepy idyllic Lanzarote village is crammed with visitors.I went for my 4th visit in 20 years last Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. There were some really lovely stalls and the whole set up was neat and organised. It really is fun to enter some of the shops and see how they change from homes to market stalls for one day.
There is something for everyone and if Dad doesn’t fancy checking out the stalls there are plenty of great food stalls!
I prefer visiting on a none market day, a lazy stroll around the various shops is a delight and there are some great restaurants, Icarus, La Cantina to name a couple.
A number of my friends always make Teguise visit a must as there are some really lovely clothes and jewellery shops you have to stroll around but trust me, they are there.
Clients staying in our villas in Nazaret can walk to the market quite easily ( saving the parking money!) and there is no better place to eat in the evenings with loads of choice.
If you do pop over please don’t forget to check out the stall for SARA our local animal charity. You can stock up on your holiday reading.
It really is great to see the island so busy, things are certainly on the up. If you intend to visit us in the near future get those diaries out and contact me so that you can get the perfect villa for your holiday.
Where ever you are have a great August and we hope to see you again soon.
