Villa Locations

Oasis de Nazaret
Oasis de Nazaret is a 10 minute drive from the nearest coastal resort of Costa Teguise, and 15 minutes from Famara, which boasts the longest natural beach in Lanzarote and has become renowned for its incredible surfing.
The village is nestled alongside Teguise, the old capital of Lanzarote. This sleepy and typically Canarian town is home to a wonderful selection of restaurants, gift shops and art galleries; not forgetting the lively Sunday Market.

Nazaret is home to the famous villa LagOmar, which once belonged to Omar Sharif. It is built into the volcanic hillside and here you can experience fantastic gourmet dining in a beautiful setting, or have a drink in the bar which occasionally hosts live jazz music – all within walking distance of your villa.

Alternatively you may prefer the very Spanish ‘sociedad’ where you will mix with the locals and enjoy excellent food at extremely reasonable prices.

Punta Mujeres
A traditional Canarian village on the eastern coast of Lanzarote. The village is inhabited by very friendly locals, a number of which make their living from fishing the surrounding waters. The village inhabitants have worked together to make the very best of their coastline. Natural and protected rock pools have been created along the sea front, perfect for a dip in the clear waters for local families and visitors.

For beach enthusiasts, the nearby village of Arrieta is within walking distance and has a superb golden, sand beach, a trendy and inexpensive beach bar, a restaurant and a children’s play area. The choice of restaurants and bars is superb in these villages, some serving the best fresh fish on the island and most have fantastic sea views. All are within walking distance of the Casita, or for families with small children, a short drive.

The area is very charming and peaceful, except on local Fiestas, when the villages come to life with noise and colour! It is a few minutes’ drive to two of the islands most famous landmarks, both designed by Cesar Manrique – Jameos del Agua and the Cuevos de los Verde (Green Caves)

Tabayesco
Tabayesco is a sleepy, typically Spanish and very picturesque village. Arrieta is a ten minute walk away where you will find an excellent supermarket, wonderful blue flag beach, and fish restaurants that are renowned throughout the Island.

Costa Teguise, a family tourist resort, is a 15-minute driveaway, as is Teguise old town where many of the island’s best restaurants are to be found.

Haria (the land of a thousand palms) is only ten minutes away and is a beautiful traditional village that is well worth a visit, and host to the Saturday artesanal market.

Just 15 minutes to the north you will reach the village of Orzola – A quaint fishing village located at the northern most tip of the island at the end of a scenic drive. This is where the ferry departs twice daily for the island of La Graciosa and where the famous fish restaurant “Charco Viejo” is located.

Macher
A mainly residential village, Macher is traditionally Spanish and away from the tourist areas. However, it is perfectly situated for a quick journey to Tias where you will find some fabulous restaurants and shops, and Puerto del Carmen which is the largest tourist area in Lanzarote. And it is just 5 minutes away from the stunning harbour Puerto Calero where again there are fantastic restaurants and designer boutiques. Macher is also home to arguably the best restaurant on the island, La Cabaña.
